Manage discount/promos

Create promotion rules with promo codes or auto-applied discounts (standard, bundle, and volume).

Open the Discount/Promos tab

Select Discount/Promos in the dashboard sidebar and choose Create Discount/Promo (or open an existing rule to edit). Each promotion is a rule with a trigger type, eligibility settings, and savings amount. This guide explains each option on the form.

Trigger type: Promo Code vs Auto Applied

  • Promo Code β€” clients enter a code at checkout. You set public or private visibility and choose Standard eligibility only.
  • Auto Applied β€” no code needed. The discount applies when the cart or booking meets your rule (standard, bundle, or volume). Clients may see promo hints while they browse or build a booking.

Give every rule an internal name (for example β€œWinter combo”) so you can find it in your list. That name is for your team; clients see the savings or code, not the internal label.

Promotion rule types (Auto Applied only)

  • Standard β€” applies when at least one selected applicable service is in the cart.
  • Bundle / Combo β€” client must book all required services together (select at least two services on the form). The discount applies only when every required service is present.
  • Volume / Group β€” applies when the cart reaches a minimum quantity across applicable services (for example three classes in one checkout).

Service selection

For bundle rules the form label changes to Required Services. For standard and volume rules it shows Applicable Services. Leave services empty only when the offer should apply to any service in the cart.

Public vs private promo codes

  • Public β€” eligible codes may appear in checkout for clients to apply.
  • Private β€” clients must type the code; useful for campaigns, loyalty, or one-off offers.
  • Visibility applies only to Promo Code trigger type. Auto Applied rules do not use public/private visibility.

Configure savings, dates, and limits

  • Discount type β€” percentage, fixed amount, or referral (referral is available for promo codes only).
  • Deduction value β€” the percent or dollar amount taken off eligible items.
  • Min order amount β€” optional minimum subtotal before the rule can apply.
  • Max discount amount β€” optional cap when using a percentage discount.
  • Start date and end date β€” the rule is active only within this window.
  • Usage limit per user β€” how many times each client may redeem the offer.

Stacking and active status

  • Allow Stacking β€” when on, this promotion can combine with other stackable promotions. When off, only the best single non-stackable discount wins for that checkout.
  • Active β€” turn off to pause the rule without deleting it.

Test before you share

Walk through a booking as a client. For promo codes, enter the code at checkout. For auto rules, add the right services or quantities and confirm the total updates. If something fails, check start/end dates, service selection, min order amount, bundle or volume requirements, usage limits, and stacking.

Create or edit a promotion rule

  1. 1Open Discount/Promos and select Create Discount/Promo (or edit an existing rule).
  2. 2Enter an internal rule name and choose Promo Code or Auto Applied.
  3. 3For promo codes: set the code, visibility, discount type, and deduction value.
  4. 4For auto applied: choose Standard, Bundle/Combo, or Volume/Group, then set services and (for volume) minimum quantity.
  5. 5Set optional min order, max discount cap, start/end dates, and usage limit per user.
  6. 6Choose whether the rule stacks with other promotions, then save.
  7. 7Test with a real booking flow before sharing the offer.
